The first Miracle Home built by Children’s Miracle Network of the Inland Northwest has sold, raising more than $250,000 to support sick and injured children throughout the Inland Northwest. Built through a collaborative partnership among Children’s Miracle Network, Eagle Ridge by Newland Communities and Condron Homes, as well as the generous donations of builders, subcontractors and realtors, this is the first of three miracle homes to be built in the Spokane community over the next three years. Purchased by John and Alice Busteed, the Condron Homes Rancher in Eagle Ridge includes many upgrades including granite counters, luxurious master shower and 3 car garage. The home also includes amenities including stainless steel appliances from Fred's Appliance, Hunter Douglas window coverings, fully landscaped yard by Becker Landscaping, enhanced garage by PremierGarage, and an ensemble from Tin Roof Furniture. “We were impressed by how lovely the home looked,” said John Busteed. “It was obvious that a lot of care and attention went into building this house. It is a very comfortable home, there was a lot of love put in.” In 2006, Children’s Miracle Network funds helped to purchase a neo-natal isolette for Northwest MedStar Air Ambulance, send over 140 kids to Camp Fun in the Sun, a camp for kids with diabetes, and helped in a state of the art remodel of the Deaconess Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit. Besides medical equipment Children’s Miracle Network provides hospitals with games and toys for playrooms as well as stocking the Emergency Rooms full of bicycle helmets and car seats so we can help prevent serious childhood injuries.
